Hi all,
Please let me announce the latest release of our software Le Petit
Poucet. It is a viewer for GPS data (tracks, waypoints, routes) in a 3D
scene. It provides a nice wrapper around
osgTerrain/VirtualPlanetBuilder. It also use famous open source
libraries: QT, GPSBABEL, GDAL, libCURL, .... and famous Open data:
Onearth from JPL, Terraserver and others. As Open Scene Graph, Le Petit
Poucet is multi-platform, binaries for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux are
available.
Release 0.1.0 of Le Petit Poucet is a major milestone since we are
adding graphical user interface. Before that, users needed to learn
cryptic commands and restart the application until result matches
expectation. This is now past and we are heading toward more and more
features including editing data.
