Robert,

Those making the decisions wanted the end-user to be able view the building and move about the inside and outside of the building and then be able to place an object on the outside or inside of the building.  So I think we need a viewer to do this -- I say think because all of this is very new to me.

I will try out the development releases 1.9 and see how it works.
