I was guessing that the current state of events was that the new plug-in wasn't quite there yet. So before I delved into trying to add the functionality, I wanted to probe the experts on whether what I was experiencing was the expected behavior or if there was something that was inherit in what I was doing with the models that may be a problem. I haven't gone into the code fully yet to try and understand it (which will be a definite learning curve for me), and before I did, I wanted to make sure that I wasn't wasting my time.
Thanks for the responses. I will try and get into the code and add the functionality for the light point systems and animation. Once I get a system that works, I'll submit to Robert for checking in and testing. chuck -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] on behalf of Paul Martz Sent: Mon 5/21/2007 4:31 PM To: 'osg users' Subject: RE: [osg-users] OpenFlight plug-in problems with light point nodes I'll raise my hand and admit I implemented light point systems in the old loader some time ago. I don't have much time to dig back into either loader these days. The light point stuff is pretty straightforward, so I'd recommend digging into the code yourself and trying to code up a fix for the behavior you're seeing. -Paul
