I have only one group which is the root node, and then it's only geodes (with geometries that can contain max 1000 points). And i enabled all the optimizations before launching the application. I enabled the view frustrum culling, and that was the problem! Now i do not have twice more points anymore! My 60fps are back :-), but the culling is still until around 10ms max. But i think it's from my octree, because apparently there is one branch much longer than the other one. So, the depth partition disables the view frustrum culling by default?
The OSG's default culling mode is to just cull the sides of the frustum, the near and far planes are disabled by default to allow the compute near/far to its job. _______________________________________________ osg-users mailing list [email protected] http://openscenegraph.net/mailman/listinfo/osg-users http://www.openscenegraph.org/
