Robert,
That certainly is good news. I haven't been following the news lately (very
busy) but what is the status of all of these changes and improvements for us
Windows users?
The changes to replace SimpleViewer by Viewer is platform agnostic
change, so it helps all platforms in the ability to be make it easier
to embed more advanced viewer functionality directly into existing
apps and windoing toolkits.
In general the Windows support into osgViewer is better than we had
previous in 1.2, threading is now properly supported for the first
time, there is also a MFC example directly as part of the core OSG
distribution - no more fumbling around for out of date examples on the
wiki.
Robert.
