Well, you're right of course--there is now a "make install" rule;
however:

1) It doesn't allow you to specify a PREFIX of any sort. I certainly
don't put anything in /usr that isn't a package, although I guess most
people aren't as micro-managing as myself. Maybe this is something that
could be done at a later date?

2) Purely out of curiosity, was the decision made not to put the Collada
development headers in a namespace of their own (#include
<collada/dom.h>) something done out of desire for maximum compatibility?
It's just not what I'm used to seeing, to be quite honest; "dom.h" is
pretty arbitrary, so I can conceive of a situation where a person would
have difficulty trying to figure out that header include with no
context. :)

Anyway, it's great to know the Collada folks are still alive and kicking
and available in some format for questions and whatnot. :)
