Hi Jean-Charles, The OpenFlight loader pretty well loads versions dating back along way. Its pretty heavily used and tested, this means it keeps up to date reasonably well. There aren't any perfect OpenFlight loaders though, as the spec is a bit open ended in number of places. I would expect the OSG's OpenFlight is now probably one of the better ones out there.
Our DXF plugin is newer and less heaviliy used so probably won't get the same level of refinement. I don't know the versions it can handle off hand. You'll need to try it and see. I have to add both these plugins are open source, so if you find versions or models that aren't supported you go in and fix them up. Robert. On 6/8/07, QUILLET Jean-Charles <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Hi, For a project I'm working on, I'm interested in supporting import for DXF file format and OpenFlight file format. It seems that openscenegraph meets this requierement. However, before starting using it, I need to find out two things about these two formats: How stable and achieved is it ? And which versions of these formats are supported ? I've checked both documentation and source code for this but couldn't get any valuable information. Any comments or usage feedbacks greatly appreciated, Jean-Charles _______________________________________________ osg-users mailing list [email protected] http://openscenegraph.net/mailman/listinfo/osg-users http://www.openscenegraph.org/
