We use SUNWspro, and CMake was picking gcc.  The configuration is a bit
strange around here, where you can build when your environment is set up
as standard but doing 3rd party stuff outside of our normal environment
can be tricky.
 
The version is SunOS 5.10.

I'll need to make sure there aren't any other variables to set, but I
know how to set 'em now.

I am curious, what compiler do you have installed?  Which one did
CMake choose out of the box, and which one have you now specified.

Also which version of Solaris are you using?
