BTW, why documentation now has strange file names like `a<some
number>.html' instead of previous `class<namespace>_1_1<class
name>.html'? I ask this because of I currently write small OSG wrapper
for OCaml language and I want to link from wrapper documentation to
OSG documentation. Previously it was OK, but now I think that some
number in `a<some number>.html' can change and my link will be
incorrect.

Because the windows file system is a heap of dung.

Specifically it can't handle long file names properly.

Can old file naming be restored?

Only for sensible operating systems. Set the SHORT_NAMES to NO in the
doc/Doxyfiles.

Robert.
