Having just followed this link to gmane, it strikes me that filtering out
the RE:[osg-users]or even RE:RE:[osg-users] in the thread topic would be a
nice idea. Strikes me that there must be several entries for each topic
lying in different threads just because of this prefix.

Have you ever used gmane? It indexes a lot of mailing lists. See for
example:

http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.comp.graphics.openscenegraph.user

 From that page you can read the list in a simple or threaded view,
search it, and see some nice statistics.

Martin, instead of reinventing the wheel, maybe in the future the page
which gives the link to list archives on the OSG website could give
that site as an alternative? It's feature-rich and very useful.
