Although I personally use Fedora because it just "looks" better than
everything else out there (in terms of visual appeal, something that
probably means more to us UI freaks than hardcore developers), if you
want KDE and apt you can't go wrong with Kubuntu. We have lots of
customers who have reported little-to-no problems with it...
