Hi all,

I have a textured quad that I want lighting disabled on the front
face, so that it appears bright no matter from what angle I look at
it. But I want to render it semi-transparent when viewed from the
back. Is this possible? I tried playing around with materials and a
two sided lightmodel, but couldn't get the exact effect I was looking
for. Using a material, I can set different alpha values for the front
and back face, but that only works if I have lighting enabled, and
then the front face is bright only when I look at it straight on.

Perhaps I am going about this in the wrong way. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Morne
