Let's say that I cannot confirm this problem, so I'm closing the ticket.
Every XP virtual machine where I use to make tests with QGIS seems to
suffer of the
{{{
"the application failed to initialize properly (0xc01500002)"
}}}
but under "real" PCs seems to work fine, so after all it maybe just a
problem with the virtualization software (Virtualbox) and XP.
