Sorry if i'm completely OOS, but making a tar out of the windows
binaries available at http://www.wxpython.org/download.php would not work ?
I also don't use this software, so have no idea what is blocking...

moving forward is wxpython. "#214: Update wxpython package" indicates
there is confusion over what needs to be done to build 2.7 wxpython.
Can anyone shed light on how to do this? I don't use it so can't help.
