Hello, I have a fresh install of QGIS 1.7.4 and GRASS 6.4.2. Both were installed via the OSGeo4W express installer.
GRASS alone works fine and QGIS alone works fine. However, the QGIS GRASS plugin fails. I can't add GRASS vectors or rasters from pre-existing GRASS databases to QGIS. I also can't import datasets into a new GRASS database via QGIS. For example, when I try and add a GRASS vector layer I get this error: Cannot get projection Cannot run module Command: c:/osgeo4w/apps/QGIS/./grass/modules/QGIS.g.info info=project

The layer itself has a defined coordinate system and the QGIS project is set to the same coordinate system. If I create a new GRASS Mapset it fails to import an existing dataset, either from a loaded dataset, or via OGR. I get this error: Cannot start module v.in.ogr Command: c:/osgeo4w/apps/grass/GRASS--1.2/bin/v.in.ogr.exe --interface-description I'm running a 64 bit version of Windows 7. Any ideas of what the fix is for this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Kurt Menke ************************** Kurt Menke, GISP Bird's Eye View
