Recently, I've ran into problems
https://github.com/Toblerity/Fiona/issues/762 with installing the GDAL
from OSGeo4W with Fiona binaries from
http://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/#fiona
Currently, Fiona supports GDAL versions 1.11-2.4, but does not support
GDAL 3, which was only released May 2019.
I still think this would make a great addition to OSGeo4W library.
