#893: New OSGeo4W installer does not detect existing QGIS installations

I recently downloaded the new OSGeo4W Network Installer.
When I run the file osgeo4w-setup.exe as administrator, it no longer
recognizes the existing installations of QGIS and other libraries that I
previously installed with the older version of osgeo4w-setup.exe.

As a result, I no longer have the option to update them because they don’t
appear in the “Select Packages to Install” list, as if QGIS were not
 installed on my PC.
However, I actually have multiple versions of QGIS installed.

 Is this issue solvable?
