There are SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) specifications JAIN-SIP and
JSR-180 for the Platforms J2SE, J2ME and couple implementations of them.

On an OSGi embedded device with J2ME CDC: What are the advantages and
disadvantages (service/application constraints) to operate with
implementations of
JAIN-SIP or JSR-180 on top of GCF (Generic Connection Framework)?
