Hi Nairon,

we at ProSyst worked together with the University of Braunschweig on a PC-based prototype to run MHP in an OSGi framework. It worked very well, however futher standardization would be required to make sure that there is a standardized way to e.g. install Xlets via the OSGi framework on the MHP platform. In addition MHP never really took off, except for Italy. This are probably the reasons why there is no set- top-box development platform that implements both. At least I am not aware of any.

There are some OSGi Residential Gateway that maybe could do the job. But I am not sure whether they meet you requirements.

1. Siemens Gigasat SX765 (using ProSyst's mBedded Server Prof. Edition)
2. InAccess Networks Home Gateways (as far as I know they use Felix)

I can provide you with contact details if you are interested.

Regards,
Kai

Hi all

I'm studing interactions beteween MHP and OSGi applications. As emulated stb I'm using xletview, openmhp and irt mhp implementations and as osgi solution I'm using knopflerfish and apache felix. Now I have to test these applications in a real environment and I would like know if there is any set-top box development platform that implements both mhp and osgi implementations.

thanks for any answer and sorry my bad english.
