Hello! I recently had some revelations about how to handle serialization in an OSGI-based framework. For the longest time, I was having problems getting this right in Wicket.

At least to me, it was not obvious at all until I was forced to think about the problem more deeply. As I suggest at the end of the post, it would be very cool if somebody were to propose some kind of serialization helper framework.
