For a given EventHandler, the posted events will be received in the order they are received by postEvent. The sent event will generally be received in the order they are sent but no delivery ordering guarantees can be made. The sent events will be synchronously delivered and the posted events will be delivered asynchronously. So the receiver could receive a posted event after a sent event which was sent after the posted event. --
