Timothy,

Thanks for the info.
Is it fair to say that the current enRoute maven tutorial is unworkable with the latest bndtools and the enRoute templates, or have I not understood the content? If the tutorial is unworkable I can then ignore it and investigate further and possibly ask some more detailed questions.
I look forward to the January developments but I have to solve a few problems
before then.

Paul

Hi Paul,

As described on the enRoute website, OSGi enRoute is undergoing a bit of an
overhaul ahead of the OSGi R7 release. There will be a *lot* of new material
involving Maven arriving soon. We can point you at the stuff that’s being
actively developed now, but can’t guarantee that what you try out will be 100%
finished or documented. It will probably be in more of a beta state by mid/late
January if you’d prefer to wait for something more fully written up.

I hope this helps,

Tim

Hi,

I have been dragged, kicking and screaming into the bnd/maven world. Putting it
off any longer is now, not an option.

Running eclipse Oxygen Sept 2017 with bndtools 3.5

Venturing into the enRoute "Tutorial to work with Maven Repositories" the
question arises, how current is the tutorial?

Not much seems to align with what I am seeing in a new bnd osgi workspace.

Where should I be looking for a hand holding intro to this frightening world
:-) Probably a great world when the light goes on!

Thanks

Paul Fraser
