I have just found the Proposal for Package Versioning in Go <https://blog.golang.org/versioning-proposal>. I only had a quick look so far, but I have the feeling that this is a first step to support a module system natively in Go that is very similar to OSGi (even more similar to OSGi than JPMS). Seeing what is happening with Java JPMS, this is the first time I have got interested in another language in the last 14 years.
