Sorry for the confusion. Yes, I wrote that, and participating in this thread helped convince me (or at least allowed me to convince myself) that the constraint implied above -- the client not knowing any criteria to select a bundle, such as symbolic name -- won't work for the system I'm trying to build. I might have reached a different conclusion if BundleContext.installBundle() behaved just a little bit differently. -- Steven E.
