Hello :)

One thing that's always sort of bothered me about OSGi is the command line consoles being customer per implementation and isolated from other command-line systems. I know this is "out of spec" and all but has anyone looked into standardizing some basic commands that would (by default) work across various framework implementations? More importantly, has anyone looked into integrating OSGi console functionality into the base operating system console? I know this would most likely be platform specific but there seem to be obvious advantages to this approach given a specific target environment. There are various approaches, such as representing bundlespace as a mount point in the filesystem, or using socket i/o inside of scripts... Just curious.

thanks
ken
