These were taken by my former roommate's co-worker who was visiting Thailand. I think it shows the force of the water more than anything I've seen on TV so far and how truly unaware people were of the destructive power of waves of this size. Europeans are by far the largest group of tourists to frequent the areas affected, but sadly their "stinginess" and hesitation to aid the areas they've enjoyed for years is apparent.
