Khan passed centrifuge to Iran Pakistan's Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said last week that nuclear technician A.Q. Khan supplied Iran with a centrifuge. "He had given a centrifuge to Iran in his individual capacity and the government of Pakistan had nothing to do with this," Ahmed said at a seminar in Islamabad. Ahmed said Khan supplied the centrifuge as part of his own initiative and not part of a Pakistan government transfer. "Whatever we have told in this case, it should be duly accepted and acknowledged," he said, noting that Pakistan would never turn Khan over to another country.
