Radio Nepal Monday quoted Ratnaraj Pandey, an official, as saying that three children died and three others were injured in the explosion that occurred Sunday in Janakpur, 380 km east of here. "The police suspect Maoist guerrillas of leaving the explosives in the area," Pandey added. In the other incident, three unarmed security personnel were found murdered, the army said Monday. Maoist guerrillas kidnapped the three men Saturday from Khimti area of the Ramechhap district, some 100 km east of Kathmandu, the Royal Nepal Army said in a statement.
