At the risk of being called unsympathetic, selfish and an uncaring Catholic,
I feel it the duty of one who spent 28 years in the military, partaking in
the Korean and Vietnam non-war wars and living to remember them, wish to
defend H.R. 4437, the Border Protection, Anti-Terrorism and Illegal
Immigration Control Act of 2005.

The purpose why we have a military is to protect this nation from those who
desire to destroy it, either by invading it or encircling it and thereby
choking it through commercial or other means such as terrorist activities.
There is one other way that an enemy can win. I call it the "Gandhi tactic"
whereby millions of unarmed, oppressed people are forced though planned
starvation, unemployment and unattended sickness are with a silent hand
herded across our borders by Mexico's president, Vicente Fox and his
minions. Now, these atheist/Marxist/communists are assisted by prelates
within the Catholic Church in their misconceived concept of Christian
charity.

The history of the bishops of Mexico reminds me of the Cristeros rebellion
which began in 1926, a state versus Church civil war that lasted until 1929.
The Catholic peasant hit and run army called themselves after Cristeros Rey,
a martyr against government tyranny. They fought bravely; many among them
were priests who also became martyrs for their faith.

I wish I could say the same of the Catholic bishops who always discouraged
the rebellion and nearly all fled the country early on in the struggle. It
was Pope Pius XI, located in the safety of the Vatican, who told the
Cristeros to lay down their arms. Being devout Catholics, they obeyed and
were slaughtered for it. Ever since then, the anticlerical and
anti-religious laws that caused the rebellion still remain on the books.
Many of the present hard-line party officials have a schizophrenic attitude
toward anticlerical laws. On the one hand, they embrace them, but are
fearful of a second rebellion. President Fox has been reluctant to enforce
the most repugnant ones such as burning down churches and forcing priests to
wear civilian clothes. He is especially fearful of the U.S. public's ire, if
that ever reoccurred and of course would stop his invasion.

Now the misguided Catholic prelates are disposed to protect illegal aliens
within the boundaries of the United States in the name of charity. Why, may
I ask, are not the present Pope and Catholic prelates using every means of
diplomatic pressure and every means of charity available to them to help the
poor peasants in Mexico instead of encouraging them to come to the U.S.A.?

The migration of the poorest within the Mexican population across Mexico's
northern border is the result of a Soviet/Nazi-type pre-WWII program
instituted after the 1929 defeat of the Cristeros that was popular until
1980, where Mexican wives were given medals and money for having no less
than five babies each. This was one of the practices of the
communist/Masonic Mexican government because it had illusions of future
prosperity and need for farm and industrial workers. That lasted until the
explosion in the demographics proved that there wasn't enough water,
tillable land or means to employ a population of mostly mixed Indian blood.
The majority are undereducated, ill-nourished and without medical care. The
result caused the encouragement of emigration to become a top priority due
to government failures and the corruption that exists at every level of
authority in the Mexican government.

The GATT, NAFTA and the curse of "Free Trade" only exacerbated the problems
of the peasant farmers who couldn't compete with the U.S.
mega-agribusinesses. Either President Fox moved these people to the U.S. or
another revolution will be sure to happen. This would then affect the
tenuous status of the Church where anti-Catholic laws still remain.

But the Church's prelates are mostly relieving the Mexican government's
problems and other problems within Central and South America by advocating
open borders for our own government to meet the challenge. The tides of
illegal peasants, without sponsors, without education, without money are
exploding, soon to destroy our entire economy. . They are hard working and
able to do manual labor for substandard wages which, in turn, slowly,
imperceptibly causes an undercutting of the living standards of our own
countrymen who were used to a living wage and other benefits. Our Black
population is the big loser in competition for available jobs. Worse yet,
Vicente Fox boasts that the entire Southwest will one day be returned to
Mexico

I was taught that first in importance is God, then family, then country.
Should God's work necessarily be conducted only in the U.S. and not in
Mexico or other Latin American countries? I doubt if God cares, so long as
it is done. On the other hand, our families are second, next to God, in the
pecking order of importance and the effects of the invasion include high
crimes and with it a change in our own culture which now embodies the
"bite." Those living below our borders are imbedded with a culture to expect
a payoff is necessary for any consideration, either by the police,
politicians, the garbage collector or the local mailman. It has spread here
in many ways for example: taxes are not collected on wages, workmen's
compensation is not paid by employers, and medical and pension benefits are
also ignored. All of this imported lack of ethics and misguided ideals of
charity affects our own nation's citizens, their lifestyle and their
security. Schools are overflowing with children whose parents do not
contribute; hospitals are inundated with third world's illegal poor who
demand emergency care and Medicaid. paid for by us, the nation's taxpayers.
Even a large portion of the wages of these illegal foreign workers are sent
back to their country of origin and lost to the American economy.

The Church is unintentionally promoting an underground system which violates
our national sovereignty using the premise that borders are to be violated
where poverty exists. The bishops believe there is no right to sovereignty
in countries that are wealthy and that citizens of those countries,
considered rich, are to be forced to open their pocketbooks in the form of
taxation to benefit those less fortunate. International socialism is what
the Church is really advocating, contrary to what every Pope believed until
the election of John the XXIII, who began the long transition of the Church
into modernism and ecumenism. As time progresses and the Church continues to
use what appears as charity to promote its social ideals, there is a real
possibility that the Church will be subjected to taxation when it is
recognized as a political position rather than a religious one.

Many Mexicans and other Central and South American Catholics incorporate
ancient Indian ceremonies rife with superstitions, a practice not remotely
Christian; so even the Church here is being influenced by what is foreign to
Church dogma.

The culture is also foreign to American culture where the male in the family
places the female in second class status; the clustering within the cities
and towns where Spanish is the dominant language and other practices act as
barriers for both legal and illegal aliens to integrate within the general
population. Los Angeles and Little Miami are such examples. The legal aliens
are prone to hide the illegal from the authorities. Instead of joining the
American community, our government is actually encouraging language barriers
by offering Spanish as the primary language.

It wasn't until the modernists and the ecumenists within the Catholic Church
infiltrated Vatican II that the word God coupled with country became
obsolete. This coincided with the New World Order whereby open borders and
free trade interlocked with the Catholic hierarchy as if that concept were
preordained in heaven. More than likely it was because earthly prelates
desired within the Vatican a leveling of the monarchical Papal authority to
be replaced by a gaggle of councils where their politics of charity
integrated with religious decision-making processes. One could conclude that
the politics of globalism infiltrated the Church - making it a tool for
international socialism under U.N. auspices.

I'll never forget the news release reporting Pope Paul's address to the U.N.
assembly that they were ."the last best hope for man" and he begged the
world to recognize the Church's new humanism. "We too, more than any others
do worship man. Man reaching to the moon took him even farther, honor to
human courage! Honor to the synthesis of the scientific and organizational
activity of Man, king of the earth and now prince of the heavens!" This
sounded more appropriate if it were said by the Grand Master of the Masonic
Order than from the supreme prelate of the Catholic Church.

The Pat Robertson followers also have their own agenda; which is to place
Israel's survivability above our own nation's. The followers of Darby are
fanatics but are still a major sect within Protestant fundamentalism. They
are convinced that the land of Israel must be protected until the final
battle of Armageddon.a belief instituted by Rev. Darby in the mid-1830s.

The question then must be asked, why should we have a military when so many
have dual citizenship, or no citizenship, or more loyalty to Israel or
Mohammed than to our own country? When illegal aliens will be allowed to
vote, as I'm sure is happening right now, the choice will be not to protect
our borders, since the illegal aliens and their supporters, the liberal
Democrat Party, turn-coat Republican Party, globalist president and the
bishops evidently think it unnecessary, since so many are poor and in need
of help. ("Why waste it on defense?" they now mumble.)

This thinking is also common to David Rockefeller and the Rothschild banking
interests of Europe, where the seat of the New World Order will finally
rest; and where the U.N. will control a world without borders, devoid of
religion; where stem cells will be produced from aborted babies, and where
it takes a village to raise a child. Nationhood and the American
Constitution will be meaningless and the writers of history will hide who
really destroyed the American dream.

I believe the House of Representatives' HR 4437, in one of its rare good
decisions, after over 85 percent of the entire U.S. legal citizens belatedly
got on their case to stop the modern Visigoths and finally voted to preserve
the Union. Let's hope that the political dissidents, the far left and the
Catholic bishops will not prevail when the Senate votes its own flawed bill.
Amnesty is not the answer; improved entrance access for those in line
waiting to enter legally is our nation's most important legislation.
