BANJA LUKA (AFP) - Bosnian police helped Canadian authorities with
information leading to the arrest of 17 terror suspects charged with an
Al-Qaeda inspired plot to bomb high profile targets in Canada, local press
reported.

"In the past several months ... we have exchanged important information and
we believe that this helped in the arrests of the suspects," an official
from the state attorney's office told the Nezavisne Novine daily on
condition of anonymity.

The state attorney's office refused to comment on the report.

"During the investigations on terrorist activities ... the attorney's office
has been working with intelligence services of many countries. We cannot
reveal the details or say with which countries we worked," spokesman Boris
Grubesic told AFP.

Twelve men and five youths were arrested on Friday and Saturday in Ontario
Province after they bought three tonnes of an explosive component they
allegedly intended to use to blow up targets that police so far have refused
to identify.

Bosnia came under the spotlight after the September 11, 2001 terror attacks
on the United States due to the presence in the country of former fighters
from Islamic countries.

Hundreds of them joined the mainly Muslim Bosnian army during the country's
1992-95 war.

They were ordered to leave Bosnia as part of the peace agreement that
brought an end to the conflict but some stayed after obtaining Bosnian
citizenship through marriage.

In May a Sarajevo court opened a trial against three men -- a Swede, a Turk
and a Bosnian -- charged with having planned a "terrorist attack on the
Bosnia-Hercegovina's territory or another European country."

"Fair Use" criteria established in Section 107 of the Copyright Act of 1976.
The principle of "Fair Use" was established as law by Section 107 of The
Copyright Act of 1976. "Fair Use" legally eliminates the need to obtain
permission or pay royalties for the use of previously copyrighted materials
if the purposes of display include "criticism, comment, news reporting,
teaching, scholarship, and research." Section 107 establishes four criteria
for determining whether the use of a work in any particular case qualifies
as a "fair use". A work used does not necessarily have to satisfy all four
criteria to qualify as an instance of "fair use". Rather, "fair use" is
determined by the overall extent to which the cited work does or does not
substantially satisfy the criteria in their totality. If you wish to use
copyrighted material for purposes of your own that go beyond 'fair use,' you
must obtain permission from the copyright owner. For more information go to:
