The first explosion, next to a bank, was followed five minutes later by another blast at the entrance of a building housing the office of a political party and a human rights organization. The injured were rushed to a hospital. Police said the blasts were caused by percussion grenades, a type of explosive that usually makes a loud noise but causes limited damage. It was the second such attack in the city this month. A motive for the attack was not clear and there was no immediate claim of responsibility.
