According to a statement issued on Monday night by the US military, seven US occupation troops were killed due to bomb blasts and resistance attacks in the volatile provinces of Al-Anbar and Salaheddin, as well as the cities of Kirkuk and Baghdad. The statement also confirmed that a US occupation soldier was killed on Monday morning, when a roadside bomb exploded en route his armored vehicle in northern Baghdad.
