America, Know Thine Enemies!

Americans are starved for leadership when it comes to illegal immigration.
Citizens and are near giddy when it appears a lofty self-inflated politico
descends from his or her stratosphere and actually seems to understand the
concerns of those who elected them. Americans, especially those in the
Border States, are frightfully concerned over the increased crime, swelling
prison population, rising health care costs, and drug trafficking as a
result of approximately twelve million illegal Mexicans hiding in plain
sight in their cities.

Decades of federal and state neglect in dealing with America's sovereignty
has birthed the Minuteman Project in southern Arizona. The Minuteman Project
is a citizens group comprised of concerned Americans who are fed up with the
decades of political apathy regarding America's border, her culture, and her
sovereignty. Its mission was - and is- to do that which the government
refuses..protect America's heritage and ensure America's future by way of
securing America's borders.

Illegal Immigration has been an issue that politicians have repeatedly
considered too big a problem to rectify without a 'comprehensive' approach.
Yet, the Minutemen have successfully shown that a relatively small and
modestly equipped group of determined American citizens can make a huge
impact on the flow of illegal aliens coming into the United States. A task
the United States government has been most unwilling to undertake and worked
to undermine.

Comprised of civilian volunteers these patriotic Americans have dedicated
their money and their time to sit in the bleak southwestern desert with
binoculars, hand held radios, food and water, and first aid gear to report
the movements of illegal aliens across the southwestern borders to the US
Border Patrol. The Minutemen have not only disrupted the flow of illegal
aliens into the United States but have provided food, water, and first aid
to those who could have died in their potentially deadly crossing. Despite
the dramatic reduction of illegal crossing in areas the Minutemen have
patrolled and despite the lives saved by the Minutemen simply being present
on the border, the organization's noble effort is vilified by some within
their nation.

Groups like the American Civil Liberties Union have taken notice of the
Minutemen Project. The ACLU has actively worked to thwart the Minutemen's
efforts to protect American sovereignty. ACLU supporters have identified
Minutemen patrolling points and routes to illegal border crossers. The
American Civil Liberties Union has staged numerous protests against those
who are simply (and peacefully) trying to exercise their right to peaceful
assembly, to exercise free speech, and to preserve their country. In
desperate futility the ACLU has tried - and continues to try - to portray
the Minutemen as violent racists.

The President of the United States has also taken notice of his 'fellow
Americans' efforts to secure America's southern border. In fact, President
George W. Bush has identified and labeled those 'fellow Americans' which
comprise the Minutemen Project as 'vigilantes.' This single, misguided, and
blatantly false statement has seriously damaged President Bush's credibility
among his base as well as patriotic Americans of any political ideology. The
harm of his ill-chosen words on the Republican Party in the 2006 and 2008
elections is yet to be realized. The President of the United States believes
that US Citizens non-violently exercising their right to a secure an
autonomous America is a bad thing?

The federal government of the United States has attempted to prevent the
Minutemen and even its own Border Patrol from being successful. Border
Patrol Agents have been told not to attend Minutemen meetings. US Border
Patrol agents have been told not to apprehend illegal aliens in Minutemen
patrolled areas after the Minutemen have moved to patrol another site. This
was supposedly done to lessen the perception of the border watch group's
effectiveness. The US Border Patrol has gone as far as reporting the
Minutemen's patrol stations to the Mexican government which in turn posted
those sites on a public webpage for those trafficking human cargo across the
border to see.

The Mexican government for financial reasons ($20 Billion approximately)
promotes the illegal migration of Mexican nationals to the United States. An
illustrated guide for crossing the US deserts and blending into the
population of America has been distributed by the Mexican government. The
flood of illegal aliens from Mexico into the United States has Mexican
politicians touring US cities to campaign for office in Mexico. Apparently
approximately 12 million illegal aliens draining Americas economy, inflating
health care costs, increasing crime, and degrading American culture is an
acceptable fact of life for the ACLU and the President of the United States.

The US House of Representatives recently voted on the Secure Fence Act of
2006 (House Roll Call 446). Congress passed H.R. 6061 by a 283-138 margin
with ten member's not voting (dereliction of duty?) and one (playing it
safe) answering present. It is commendable that 64 Democrats broke party
lines to honor their oath to serve the United States over their personal or
party interests. But the vote to try to assert American sovereignty in the
House was mainly along party lines with 131 Democrats voting not to extend
the existing wall between the US and Mexico an additional 700 miles.

In an election year the Democrats are trying to erase the public memory of
their constant obstructionist anti-American positions in the War on Terror.
Repeatedly limelight seeking Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, John Murtha,
Cynthia McKinney, and Charles Rangel have devoted much time and effort in
condemning the actions of United States' military and its leadership during
a time of a uniquely unconventional war. For political position they
chastise and critique President Bush's every action while - typical for a
Democrat - they offer no constructive alternative on how to combat America's
enemy. It is truly no surprise that those very prominent media savvy
Democrats were among the 131 who voted against extending the border fencing
between the US and Mexico. After all, Democrat Liberals are nothing if not
constant in their contempt of America, her culture, and her role in the
world.

Perhaps the most surprising development in those voting against America's
need to secure the border with Mexico is with those 8 Republicans who
betrayed the public trust. Of those eight, Republican Congressmen Kolbe,
Pastor, and Democratic Congressman Grijalva of Arizona are the most
despicable among those refusing to erect additional physical barriers on the
US border. Any Republican who witnesses' first hand the degradation of
American society in their state as a consequence of lackadaisical
immigration enforcement and chooses not to try anything reasonable (like a
physical barrier or proof of citizenship when voting) to preserve the
country is truly the domestic enemy of every American citizen.

The 2006 general election is fast approaching. Politicians are polishing
their already lustrous shtick to convince potential voters those not
polarized by hatred or an issue that they are worthy of a vote. In the
attempt to walk the line between those positions that buy public support and
those positions that buy TV time, politicians say one thing before the
camera while committing their votes on issues to what their lobbyist
supporters require for large contributions. Savvy politicians know that
there are so many thickly paged bills packed with dozens of conditions and
concessions written in legalese that none but a professional lobbyist with a
vested financial interest could ever hope to dedicate the time to decode and
understand what really is being proposed in Congress or the Senate. In this
way politicians gamble that no citizen with a life would religiously watch
CSPAN long enough to hear the bits of apologetic rhetoric spoken at 3 am
explaining the neglecting America's sovereignty or degrading its values. In
this way the government functions against its people.

In no small part to the efforts of the Minutemen, the Americans for Legal
Immigration and other concern citizens group like them, the Border Fence Act
of 2006 has passed through the House of Representatives, was approved by the
Senate 80-19 (along party lines once again), and was signed into law by
President Bush. The politicians have been made to set aside (albeit
temporarily) their own ambitions and motives to conform to the will of the
American people on the issue of illegal immigration.

Those who voted against the Border Fence Act of 2006 have plainly shown
where their loyalties lie. Those politicians, who may obstruct, circumvent,
or delay the funding of the Border Fence Act of 2006 will also reveal their
true allegiance. Americans must take note of those in public office whose
devotion rests not with the American people but with interests suited to
foreign entities. Americans must re-assert their inalienable right to shape
their government, dictate their own values, and demand the protection of
their uniqueness on this earth. 2006 is a year of concern (feigned or
otherwise) for many politicians; A year where the public grants or denies
office to those who hunger for political power. The time is right to
strong-arm the lofty political elitists into honoring their most sacred
commission - the preservation of America as a sovereign nation.

Americans must recognize all of their enemies, especially those residing in
government.
