The GMA News network website report contrasted claim by summit organizers and Philippine officials that a possible typhoon is the reason for the postponement of the summit. Philippine organizers of the summit suddenly announced Friday afternoon that the summit has been postponed until January next year due to the threat of a typhoon which is moving toward central Philippines.
