Ba-Jammal and Badawi talk on further cooperation and enhancing OIC
Sana'a, Feb. 28(Saba)- Yemeni prime minister Abdul-Qader Ba-Jammal
held a talks session with the visiting Malaysian prime minister Abdullah
Ahmad
Badawi on means bilateral cooperation and international and regional issues.
They talked on trends of both countries to increase fields of economic,
investment, administrative, human development, scientific research, basic
education, developing religious curriculums and technical education and
tourism.
They also dealt with Arab and Islamic issues of common concern topped
by the situations in Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon and Somalia as well as
mechanisms
of developing the Islamic collective actions to serve Islamic nations
and enhance their role in regional and international events under the
Organization of Islamic Conference.
These talks and the coming meetings that will include Yemeni and
Malaysian ministers and businessmen reflect the determination of both
countries to establish true brotherly relations and to have joint
interests, said Ba-Jammal.
Malaysian prime minister praised the level of collaboration between
Yemen and Malaysia, pointing to efforts by Malaysia to develop the
collective
economic work of the OIC.
"Malaysia has exerted great efforts to improve the economic situation
of OIC especially in building capacities and human development to improve
the quality of products of member states and make them more competitive,
said Badawi.
