Circuit City Employee Tipped Off FBI About Jersey Jihadists
Will Heroic John Doe Be Sued by CAIR? http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/239292/circuit_city_employee_tipped _off_fbi.html By Kimberly West The Home News Tribune in New Jersey reports today that the hero who tipped off law enforcement about the planned Islamist attack on Fort Dix is an employee at Circuit City in the Mooreston Mall. The Home News Tribune reports- Circuit City corporate spokesman Jim Babb confirmed this morning that a current employee was asked by one of the alleged terrorists to dub a Jihadist training VHS cassette into a DVD. The clerk alerted Mount Laurel police about the video in January 2006, who then contacted the FBI, which launched the investigation. The suspected terrorists had visited the shop approximately 16 months ago to transfer training videos from videotape to DVD's. The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that after the Jihadists brought the tape to the store for dubbing- The clerk watched it and found it "disturbing." It showed 10 young men in their early 20s "shooting assault weapons . . . and calling for jihad." The Mount Laurel police called the FBI. And that, authorities said yesterday, is how the FBI began to investigate a plot to kill soldiers at Fort Dix. While Circuit City and officials will not publicly identify the clerk, GIVE ME A BREAK!!! many are calling him an unsung hero. A spokesman from the office for Rep. Jim Saxton, R-Mount Holly, said about the Circuit City employee-- "He is obviously someone who is alert and acted in a very responsible way and he very likely saved lives, there's no question about that, so he's a hero because of that." "This person did what we want all citizens to do," said U.S. Attorney Christopher J. Christie. The U.S. Attorney also told The Press of Atlantic City, "If you see something suspicious pick up the phone and call local police or the FBI. The only stupid call is the call you don't make. Imagine if the camera store owner didn't call the FBI." The U.S. Attorney's words of encouragement to Americans to report suspicious activity comes in the wake of escalating intimidation by The Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR), the organization that filed a lawsuit on behalf of The Flying Imams, against alert American patriots. Will the heroic Circuit City John Doe now be sued for reporting the six Islamists who were planning to kill as many soldiers as possible at Ft. Dix? Frank Gaffey at Town Hall Blog reports that Democratic leadership with the support of 109 caucus members is attempting to "deep six" legislation proposed by Republicans that will protect ordinary citizens who report suspicious activity. The John Doe legislation is designed (per a Republican memo) to ensure that "any person that voluntarily reports suspicious activity -- anything that could be a threat to transportation security" will be granted immunity from civil liability for the disclosure." Yesterday over at the Town Hall blog, Frank Gaffey Jr. gave a chilling account of the intimidation against John Does- On the Amtrak train to New York a few minutes ago, the conductor announced, "If you see anything suspicious, please report it to the authorities immediately." If Islamist-front organizations like the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and its friends in Congress have their way, however, this sensible, prudential announcement will have to be amended: "Be advised: If you do make such a report, you may be sued." US Attorney Christopher J. Christie pointed out in his interview with The Press of Atlantic City that there are indeed terrorists within in our midst. Even in New Jersey. "They didn't live in some foreign land and parachute here. They lived among us in the state of New Jersey. As we sit here today there are people sitting inside New Jersey plotting to kill and attack Americans," Christie said.
