Nicaragua President due in Iran soon 01:20:45 È.Ù Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega is to pay an official visit to Islamic Republic of Iran in the near future, according to a statement. The statement was issued in Mexico City on Thursday during a meeting between new Ambassador to Mexico and accredited Ambassador to Nicaragua Mohammad Qadiri Abyaneh and a Nicaraguan delegation, headed by the President's son, Sabdera Ortega. The Ambassador said he was happy with Ortega's future visit to Tehran. "Nowadays, (number of) people who share the same convictions with Ortega as Nicaragua's revolutionary leader has been increased inother states in the region. This is the main difference between the world of today and the world of past," he added. Pointing to the vast ground of cooperation between Iran and Nicaragua, he expressed determination of the Iranian government and nation to expand all-out relations with Managua. Sabdera Ortega pointed to deep-rooted relations between the Iranian and Nicaraguan nations and their simultaneous revolutions against arrogant regimes and stressed enhanced ties with iran. He added that a visit by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Nicaragua, taking place immediately after Ortega was officially sworn in, was a source of honor for the government and nation of Nicaragua, a state in central America.
