Nicaragua President due in Iran soon

01:20:45 È.Ù
Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega is to pay an official visit to Islamic
Republic of Iran in the near future, according to a statement.

The statement was issued in Mexico City on Thursday during a meeting between
new Ambassador to Mexico and accredited Ambassador to Nicaragua Mohammad
Qadiri Abyaneh and a Nicaraguan delegation, headed by the President's son,
Sabdera Ortega.

The Ambassador said he was happy with Ortega's future visit to Tehran.

"Nowadays, (number of) people who share the same convictions with Ortega as
Nicaragua's revolutionary leader has been increased inother states in the
region. This is the main difference between the world of today and the world
of past," he added.

Pointing to the vast ground of cooperation between Iran and Nicaragua, he
expressed determination of the Iranian government and nation to expand
all-out relations with Managua.

Sabdera Ortega pointed to deep-rooted relations between the Iranian and
Nicaraguan nations and their simultaneous revolutions against arrogant
regimes and stressed enhanced ties with iran.

He added that a visit by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Nicaragua, taking
place immediately after Ortega was officially sworn in, was a source of
honor for the government and nation of Nicaragua, a state in central
America.
