The speculations spread by the Israeli news service Debkafile saying that
terrorists plan to attack the financial websites on November 11 appear to be
fake as the application used for the assault is not so well-developed. It
was said that the Islamic extremists intend to attack the western pages
using a software tool called the "Electronic Program of Jihad" which was
especially designed for this

goal. Francois Paget of security company McAfee received the application and
provides more information about it. So read the following lines and you'll
understand why it's only a fake warning.

First, the reports sustained the hackers intend to use version 2.0 of
"Electronic Program of Jihad" but the McAfee official received a sample of
the 3.0 release. Why would they choose to use an older program since a newer
version is available? A later release is more likely to help you reach your
target and it also corrects bugs and reported issues.

After the application is installed on users' computers, it attempts to
connect to a website, requiring a username and password which would be
probably provided by the terrorists. "Today this site is unreachable.
Another window seems related to some bonus program: you can win 24 points by
referring a newcomer," the McAfee employee reported.

As it was first reported, the software tool could be used to launch DDos
attacks but since the website is down, no additional information is
available at this time. Or maybe it's just a strategy to make us believe the
terrorist technologies are not powerful enough for this attack.

Personally, I think it's only a fake warning but we must admit that such a
technology is pretty smart since the Islamic terrorists can easily launch an
attack by installing only a single piece of software on their computers.
Sure, you need a very large network for a successful attack but we all know
that the Jihad has militants in numerous regions of the world.
