London-based daily Al Hayat reports that a senior Palestinian official
confirmed that a European country revealed to the Hamas government in Gaza,
headed by deposed Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, a list of three Hamas
leaders Israel was targeting. This list includes the head of Hamas'
Political Bureau, Khaled Mashaal, head of Hamas' Political Bureau, Mahmoud
al-Zahar, a Hamas leader and spokesman, and Ismail Haniyeh himself. The
source further added that the European country informed them that Israel was
delaying the assassinations until the end of President George Bush's visit
to the region, and confirmed that the disbanded government and Hamas are
taking the message seriously and have increased security around these
figures to unprecedented levels.

Meanwhile, Hamas claims that its security forces in Gaza thwarted a scheme
to set off a pack filled with explosives minutes before Haniyeh arrived at
Palestine Stadium in Gaza to participate in a public reception for pilgrims
returning from the Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca). The source further stated
that a Palestinian youth carrying a pack full of TNT was arrested minutes
before Haniyeh arrived at the site.

The source further added that the suspect was a young man carrying a school
bag who tried to flee when asked to halt and submit to a search, and once
caught was discovered to be carrying an explosive charge weighing 3 kg (6.6
lbs). He was arrested and interrogated to find out whether his target was
Haniyeh or the assembled crowd. The explosive charge was wired to be
detonated via cellphone.

The attempted attack added to renewed anarchy in the Gaza Strip. Last
Friday, the American International School in Beit Lahia was set on fire in
the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Seven cars belonging to the only
English-language school in the Gaza Strip were burned and several computers
were stolen. An organization calling itself the Group of Believers (Jamaat
Al-Mouamnin) claimed responsibility for the attack. Associated with al-Qaeda
the organization warned in the message they released: "Should anyone attempt
to harm our men or open other such depraved institutions - we will attack
him."

"Fair Use" criteria established in Section 107 of the Copyright Act of 1976.
The principle of "Fair Use" was established as law by Section 107 of The
Copyright Act of 1976. "Fair Use" legally eliminates the need to obtain
permission or pay royalties for the use of previously copyrighted materials
if the purposes of display include "criticism, comment, news reporting,
teaching, scholarship, and research." Section 107 establishes four criteria
for determining whether the use of a work in any particular case qualifies
as a "fair use". A work used does not necessarily have to satisfy all four
criteria to qualify as an instance of "fair use". Rather, "fair use" is
determined by the overall extent to which the cited work does or does not
substantially satisfy the criteria in their totality. If you wish to use
copyrighted material for purposes of your own that go beyond 'fair use,' you
must obtain permission from the copyright owner. For more information go to:
