NEW DELHI, July 31 (KUNA) -- A court in Bangladesh has sentenced to life imprisonment seven cadres of proscribed Islamist group Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) that had carried out serial blasts in the country in 2005. A fast-track court in south-western Barisal region yesterday announced the sentence against the insurgents for the serial blasts that rocked Bangladesh on August 17 2005, news agency Press Trust of India reported Thursday, quoting a source in the Law Ministry. Last month a Dhaka court had sentenced three JMB cadres to 20-years Rigorous Imprisonment for having bomb making material. Nearly 200 people were killed in bombings masterminded by JMB between 2000-05. Six JMB leaders including its chief Sheikh Abdur Rahman and second in command Siddikul Islam were hanged in March 2007. "Fair Use" legally eliminates the need to obtain permission or pay royalties for the use of previously copyrighted materials if the purposes of display include "criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research." Section 107 establishes four criteria for determining whether the use of a work in any particular case qualifies as a "fair use". A work used does not necessarily have to satisfy all four criteria to qualify as an instance of "fair use". Rather, "fair use" is determined by the overall extent to which the cited work does or does not substantially satisfy the criteria in their totality.
