LOS ANGELES (AP) -- An El Al airliner carrying 300 passengers and crew members has safely landed at Los Angeles International Airport after reporting a possible blown nose wheel. Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Mike Fergus says the Israeli airliner, which was coming from Tel Aviv, landed about 6 a.m. PDT on Thursday. No injuries were reported.
