When we told you that some Republicans were quietly and stealthily
planning to break their pledge to repeal ObamaCare... patriotic Americans
like you responded by calling these elected officials on the carpet for
playing politics with our future and flooding their offices with phone calls
and faxes.

And now... your efforts are starting to pay-off because 130 members of
Congress (as of July 14, 2010) have signed onto a discharge petition that
would FORCE Nancy Pelosi to hold a straight up-or-down vote on HR 4972, a
bill, proposed by Congressman Steve King, that will REPEAL OBAMACARE.

In plain language, that means that the repeal of ObamaCare is actually
within our grasp. Congressman King is upbeat and firmly believes that we can
attract the additional signatures: "I am optimistic that we will be able to
attract the 218 signatures we will need to force a vote on repealing
ObamaCare. ... Signatures on the discharge petition have come more quickly
than I had expected."

     But obtaining

8c8&id=4df868034f&e=142ed327c6> the remaining signatures on the discharge
petition to repeal ObamaCare is up to each and every one of us.

The plain and simple fact of the matter is that there are still a
number of Republicans who have not signed this discharge petition... there
are Democrats who voted against ObamaCare who have not signed this discharge
petition... and there are a significant number of Democrats who are taking a
bloody beating from the folks back home, because they backed Nancy Pelosi
and voted in favor of ObamaCare, who have not signed this discharge
petition.

Truth be told, many of our elected officials would prefer that this
discharge petition effort stay off of the radar because they all know that
as we come closer and closer to the November elections that the folks back
home will view their refusal to sign this petition as an endorsement of
Barack Obama's health care scheme.

     But you

petition on the radar... and you have the power to make them sign the
discharge petition to repeal ObamaCare.

We simply need to drive the message home right here and right now:

Sign this discharge petition to force Nancy Pelosi to hold a straight
up-or-down vote on the repeal of ObamaCare right here and right now (and
then proceed to immediately vote for the repeal of ObamaCare) or, as we go
into the November elections, or you will be viewed, by the American people,
as an ObamaCare supporter... period... end of sentence.

     It's a message

that they MUST HEAR.

Repeal ObamaCare? It's Only A Hard Question In Washington D.C.

Congressman King called ObamaCare is a "malignant tumor that has
metastasized as we speak."

Now... let's go with that analogy for a moment... how would you react
if your doctor told you that you had a cancerous tumor and that the prudent
course of action would be to talk about the possibility of initiating
treatment at some unspecified point down the road even though the tumor
would grow and overtake your body in the meantime?

You'd certainly think that the doctor was nuts for making such an
idiotic recommendation... and yet... when it comes to the repeal of
ObamaCare, far too many of our elected officials were actually following
that exact course of action.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal wrote in The Wall Street Journal:
"Meanwhile, some level of hand-wringing has broken out among GOP
strategists. Should we push for repeal? Will it work? Is there some danger
in that strategy? ... Only in Washington is this a hard question."

Congressman King, speaking at the Heritage Foundation, said:
"Republicans have done more to repeal and replace their own rhetoric than to
repeal and replace ObamaCare."

Even former Senator Phil Gramm, a proclaimed opponent of ObamaCare,
wrote: "I believe that Republicans should take the unequivocal position that
IF they are given a majority in Congress in November, they will stop the
implementation of the government takeover." [Emphasis Ours].

"If?" ... There is no "If." What are our elected officials thinking? Do
they believe the American people are stupid? What rational person actually
believes that elected officials feel obligated to do anything AFTER
immediately achieving the safety and security of re-election.

In contrast to what Graham said, our

they are deserving of re-election by actually repealing this malignancy.

     Here's the bottom line... Congress

they SHOULD repeal ObamaCare now... that's it... nothing more... nothing
less.

I'm Jist A Republican Who Cain't Say No.

So... why would pundits, strategists and operatives in Washington D.C.
advise our elected officials that they stood a better chance of victory in
November if they simplyTALKED about repealing ObamaCare... but avoided any
substantive attempts to actually repeal it?

The problem is a lack of courage... a lack of conviction... a lack of
moral grounding and... in far too many cases...a lack of spine.

Far too many of our elected officials were under the mistaken and
idiotic impression that they should run, like frightened rabbits, from the
prospect of repealing ObamaCarelest they be labeled as members of "the party
of no."

Like the character of Ado Annie Carnes in the musical Oklahoma... they
just can't say no.

When Pelosi and Company want to raise taxes... they just can't say no.
When Harry Reid calls for more government intrusion into the lives of
patriotic Americans... they just can't say no. When liberal special
interests push for the further erosion of the moral foundations of this
great country... they just can't say no.

And so it goes with ObamaCare... a health care scheme that will make
health care less accessible and less affordable for all Americans.

They just can't say no... but as Jindal put it, "As it pertains to this
bill [ObamaCare], how about 'hell no.'"

Well... they may lack the courage to say no, but we can say it for
them. We can speak

yes... we can make them say no... if we act right here and right now.

the Republican and Democratic Leaders of the U.S. House of Representatives
and the 34 Democrats who voted against ObamaCare when it passed the House of
Representatives in March.

Demand that these elected officials add their names to the discharge
petition on HR 4972, urge their fellow members of Congress to do the same,
and then hold a straight up-or-down vote to repeal Barack Obama's health
care scheme. On July 4th, we celebrated Independence Day. Let's act now and
declare our independence from ObamaCare... TODAY.
