Barack Obama, Mahmoud al-Zahar (the co-founder of and Hamas) and our
enemies abroad are in total agreement. The Ground Zero Victory Mosque must
be built.
Of course, the liberal spin doctors are already at work and are
desperately trying to distort what is really happening here... but don't
allow yourself to be fooled or distracted from what is really going on.
Barack Obama - who, by the way, has never seen fit to even attend a
National Day of Prayer event - hosted a Ramadan Dinner at the White House
and, with cameras rolling, gave his enthusiastic support to the construction
of a Ground Zero Victory Mosque. He

his way to endorse it.
But he didn't have the guts to come right out and say it. Hiding behind
the 1st Amendment, as if it were his mother's skirt, he told those in
attendance: "Let me be clear. As a citizen, and as President, I believe that
Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in
this country. And that includes the right to build a place of worship and a
community center on private property in Lower Manhattan, in accordance with
local laws and ordinances."
Does anyone really believe that Barack Obama made that statement
because he considers himself to be a champion of religious liberties and the
United States Constitution? Of course not.
Obama used the 1st Amendment as a ruse... a red-herring. He desperately
wanted and needed to tell the world, and our enemies abroad, that he
supports the construction of the Ground Zero Victory Mosque. He

message and that the American people would be too stupid to realize what he

Of course, he grossly underestimated the intelligence of the American
people. No one was fooled. Bobby Eberle withGOPUSA perhaps said it best:
"It's almost as if he goes out of his way to put America last. ... he is too
spineless to admit to the American people that, yes, he supports the
construction of a Muslim mosque in the shadow of the location where nearly
3,000 innocent Americans died at the hands of Islamic terrorists."
Barack Obama has slapped every patriotic American in the face and we

around. His words must be repudiated... his actions must be repudiated... he

Mr. Obama: The Constitution Is Not Your Mother's Skirt... Stop Hiding Behind
It.
House Minority Leader John Boehner put this controversy in its proper
context: "The fact that someone has the right to do something doesn't
necessarily make it the right thing to do. That is the essence of tolerance,
peace and understanding. This is not an issue of law, whether religious
freedom or local zoning. This is a basic issue of respect for a tragic
moment in our history."
That's an important point because, quite frankly, Barack Obama wasn't
evoking the Constitution when he gave his ringing endorsement of the Ground
Zero Victory Mosque... he was, in reality, invoking Saul Alinksy's Rules for
Radicals.
Obama, who used to teach workshops on Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, is
simply following one of Alinky's rules: "Make the enemy live up to its own
book of rules. You can kill them with this...."
Satan may be the Great Deceiver, but Barack Obama is no slouch in that
department either.
Obama knows that patriotic Americans honor and cherish the 1st
Amendment... that's exactly why

brought it up... HE interjected it into the discussion because he

Amendment in order to shut you up...
Fortunately... few are buying what Obama is selling. As Boehner so
eloquently put it, it's not about the "law" or "religious freedom or zoning"
... the issue at hand is about respect and common decency.
Debra Burlingame, the sister of one of the pilots who died on 9/11 said
that the building of this mosque is, "a deliberately provocative act that
will precipitate more bloodshed in the name of Allah." Burlingame added,
"Barack Obama has abandoned America at the place where America's heart was
broken nine years ago, and where her true values were on display for all to
see."
Sally Regenhard, the mother of one of the firefighters who died at the
World Trade Center on 9/11 speaks for the vast majority of Americans when
she says: "As an Obama supporter, I really feel that he's lost sight of the
germane issue, which is not about freedom of religion. It's about a gross
lack of sensitivity to the 9/11 families and to the people who were lost."
Obama could have said a great many things at that Ramadan Dinner. He
could have (should have) condemned the construction of the Ground Zero
Victory Mosque in the strongest words possible... or, he could have simply
said nothing.
But he

who sat in a pew and listened to the venom of Rev. Jeremiah (G__ D___

to America's enemies abroad.
Make no mistake, Obama is no Jimmy Carter. His words were not born of
incompetence... or weakness... they were born of malice. And as the days
passed, although the media tried to give Obama cover and claimed he was
"backtracking," Obama's statements actually became more incendiary... more
insulting to the American people.
The very next day, White House spokesman Bill Burton admonished the
American people: "Just to be clear, the president is not backing off in any
way from the comments he made last night."
Later, Burton clarified the matter even further and said; "This wasn't
something that the president viewed through a political lens. This is
something that he saw as his obligation to address."
An "obligation" to whom? ... he's "not backing off"? But the most
insulting statement came right out of Obama's own mouth; "I was not
commenting and I will not comment on the wisdom of making the decision to
put a mosque there."
That last statement says it all... "will not comment on the wisdom of
making the decision" ... Excuse us, Mr. Obama, butthat

that come out of your mouth on the matter.
Shortly after 9-11, George Bush uttered what is now a famous comment to
a man in the crowd at Ground Zero; "I can hear you! The rest of the world
hears you! And the people - and the people who knocked these buildings down
will hear all of us soon."
It's a good thing Obama wasn't president back them... he probably would
have said something to effect of... I hear you, but I'm not here to comment
on the wisdom of those who made the decision to slaughter 3,000 American
citizens in cold-blood without provocation...."
Obama needs to decide once and for all... is he President of the United
States or is he the President of All Those Who Oppose the United States? If
he

Because, by interjecting the 1st Amendment into this dialogue, that's
exactly what Barack Obama is trying to do... he's setting up a straw-man
argument to shut you up.
And ask yourself, how many times, in the past, has the extreme left
used this tactic? Why is it that whenever patriotic Americans chose to speak
out on an issue, liberals sanctimoniously tell you that it's an infringement
on someone else's Constitutional rights to do so?
You can't say that... it's not politically correct, but I can say
whatever I want to say... you shouldn't pray in public lest you offend
someone but the Constitution protects the publication of vile smut... its
okay to burn the flag but it's not a good idea for children to recite the
Pledge of Allegiance in school....
The hypocrisy of the left has become almost surreal. The sad and
unfortunate truth is that many of these folks on the hard left have no
regard or respect for our Constitution unless it can be twisted and
distorted to serve their vile purposes... but they have no problem telling
you... sit down and shut up... you're not following your own rules... it's

"right" to taxpayer subsidized housing... the "right" to receive an
unemployment check... the "right" to be coerced into belonging to a labor
union.
And where was Barack Obama when a group of Christian missionaries were
arrested for peacefully handing out copies of the Gospel of St. John on a
public street near an Arab festival in Dearborn, Michigan? Perhaps, some
people are simply "more equal" under the law than others.
Wasn't it Barack Obama who nominated Elena Kagan to the Supreme
Court... a woman who stomped on the rights of our brave men and women in
uniform when she was Dean of the Harvard School of Law? Is it not true that
Obama's fellow travelers in Congress have tried to insert thoughts and
utterances of speech (so-called Hate Crimes Legislation) into our criminal
code?
Let's face it. The Constitution only has meaning to these people when
they can distort it to further their own diabolical purposes. They
relinquished all credibility when it comes to the issue of personal
liberties long ago, by their own actions and Barack Obama wouldn't know a
personal liberty if it bit him in the posterior.
The building of this Ground Zero Victory Mosque is a provocative
insult... a spit in the face to all Americans. The American people have
every right to be angry... and
