Stop Whitewashing the Deceptive, Misogynistic, Racist and Dangerous Muslim Brotherhood
Posted By Christine Williams On February 25, 2011 Too many prominent Western voices-media and political-whitewash the danger of the Muslim Brotherhood. It is a global monolith with a single goal of worldwide Sharia despite being repeatedly advertised as a diverse entity with 'moderate' and 'democratic' factions. According to an article in <http://www.thenation.com/article/158716/muslim-brotherhood-transition> The Nation: The Muslim Brotherhood, the Cairo-based Islamist group that consumes the minds of American neoconservatives but rates hardly a second thought in Egypt, is in many ways like an ancient papyrus roll displayed in an airtight case lest it crumble when exposed to the elements. This flawed rendition of the Brotherhood <http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/groupProfile.asp?grpid=6386> with a fledgling heartbeat is nonsense. There is a valid reason why the minds of "American neoconservatives" are consumed with the Brotherhood which will use 'democratic' and peaceful avenues to inaugurate Sharia law globally while being insidious and covert. It is disheartening that there is still resistance to this fact. While dissension plagues the Muslim Brotherhood, this should not be confused with diversity as is clearly done. In 2010, Conservative Islamist Mohammed Badie took over as leader of the Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide from the more secular Mohammed Akef who stepped down from office. This was regarded as a setback to the Brotherhood's youth wing according to another Brotherhood member, Mohammed Adel: You have a lot of young people who want to be in the leadership, but none of them are in the senior ranks.. We want to take things to the street. The article then commends the so-called young secular 'moderates': It was the participation of the Brotherhood's young cadres that lent critical mass to the demonstrations that toppled Mubarak. Well not according to Badie himself who railed against Mubarak and presented himself as quite the advocate of the people of Egypt <http://wn.com/Mohammed_Badie> . The final straw of <http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/groupProfile.asp?grpid=6779> The Nation article after demonizing Mubarak, the military, and the 'conservative' branch of the Muslim Brotherhood was to throw support behind the so-called more secular wing as "a static player in a profoundly ecumenical movement radiating across the Arab world that share above all else a hatred of the despot who tormented it." This erroneous view is shared in a <http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/23/opinion/23Shafak.html> New York Times report: And today Turks are closely watching what is happening in Cairo. At the height of the protests, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave a speech that was broadcast live to the protesters in Tahrir Square. "No government can remain oblivious to the democratic demands of its people," he said. "There isn't a government in history that has survived through oppression." Not only has Turkey become increasingly Islamized but in a shocking report <http://www.todayszaman.com/newsDetail_getNewsById.action?load=detay&newsId= 228386> that demonstrates the unity and danger of the Muslim Brotherhood, Erdoðan received the Al-Gaddafi International Prize for Human Rights a year ago for his "distinguished service to humanity." Yes the same raving, lunatic, blood-thirsty Gaddafi vowing to "crush" the "cockroaches" that oppose him in Libya, and long known for his insanity. Yet Erdoðan stated that this award will further encourage him to fight for human rights. What he was referring to are those ' rights' important to the Muslim Brotherhood. He followed with a speech which unsurprisingly centered around Islamophobia, calling it a crime against humanity, while stating that no one can attack things that are sacred to Muslims using freedom of expression as an excuse. This is key to the unity among the Muslim Brotherhood: the rejection of the individual right to express his or her thoughts since it represents an affront to Sharia Law. Under such law, women and blacks are inferiors. Mohammed referred to Ethiopians as "raisin heads" and black slavery is institutionalized. In fact, long before colonialism took place, Arabs were trading black slaves and frequently castrated their males to control the black population. The Darfur genocide is not out of the ordinary under such barbaric law, which also seeks to execute homosexuals-along with many others who commit 'offenses'- as dictated under Islamic jurisprudence, which can include so-called blasphemy against Islam. Leftists are failing to grasp the concept of what democracy means to the Muslim Brotherhood which seeks to install a Muslim Caliphate worldwide. The Brotherhood is adept at presenting its own brand of democracy, using the voting process to gain ground-like Hamas did in its elections- but whose Charter aims to obliterate Israel. _____ Article printed from NewsReal Blog: http://www.newsrealblog.com URL to article: http://www.newsrealblog.com/2011/02/25/stop-whitewashing-the-deceptive-misog ynistic-racist-and-dangerous-muslim-brotherhood/ [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ -------------------------- Want to discuss this topic?
