Barack Obama's troubles with pacifying the Muslim world-or at least some parts of it-continue as an Irish Muslim was arrested yesterday for issuing a death threat against the president. Obama is due to visit Ireland later on this month, and this death threat symbolizes that Obama's attempts to appease the Muslim world after Osama bin Laden's killing earlier this month have failed. 44-year-old Khalid Kelly was arrested by Irish Special Branch detectives yesterday and taken into police custody, where he can be kept for up to three days without being officially charged. The arrest of the 44-year-old <http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/local-national/republic-of-ireland/i reland-perfect-place-to-kill-barack-obama-muslim-held-over-alleged-remarks-1 5155293.html> was due to his remarks that he made as part of an article that he wrote for a Sunday newspaper. In said article, Kelly communicated that Ireland would be the perfect place to kill Obama. More specifically, he wrote that Al-Qaeda had already picked Ireland as the ideal location in which to target the president and that the terror organization was already prepared to pay up to 1 million Euros to anybody who was ready to kill Obama. Kelly is not an Arab; in fact, he's an Irish convert to Islam <http://www.examiner.com/american-politics-in-vancouver/karl-rove-says-pakis tani-government-did-not-know-bin-laden-was-pakistan> ! Before changing his name to the current Khalid Kelly, he was formerly known as Terry Kelly and hailed from the Liberties area of Dublin. He converted to Islam in the one place that many conversions to the "religion of peace" occur: prison! That's right: prison. According to the Belfast Telegraph, Kelly willfully became a Muslim while he was serving a jail sentence in Saudi Arabia for unlawfully distilling and selling booze. His personal story also gets more colorful: After serving his jail sentence, he apparently journeyed to Pakistan and trained with tribal warlords (read: terrorists!). He also plotted on then traveling to Afghanistan, probably to help out in the jihad. Kelly's arrest and death threats against Obama prove two, troublesome things. First, it undoubtedly confirms that Obama's elaborate and ridiculous appeasement efforts towards the Muslim world <http://www.examiner.com/american-politics-in-vancouver/glenn-beck-show-isla mic-caliphate-coming-soon> -where he bent over backwards to do what he naively thought they would like (such as burying bin Laden at sea)-have utterly failed. If any of the president's apologizing, backstabbing of Israel, and attempts to try terrorists in New York City really had any impact, then Muslims like Kelly would still not be trying to kill him, would they?! Secondly, it also shows what Bill O'Reilly is so fond of relentlessly pointing out, namely that the Muslim world has one huge, irreparable problem with trying to kill.and then kill some more. While Kelly doesn't represent all Muslims, even radicals like him symbolize the millions and millions of Muslims across the globe who think the same. Hence, the Muslim problem. To the radical Muslims like Kelly, it doesn't matter how many times Obama tries to appease the Muslim world, angering millions of Americans each time he so tries. Radical Muslims like Kelly want to kill Obama-and each and every single American-because of their jihad-based beliefs that dictate that everyone who is not a Muslim should die. It's as simple as that, yet the president and his band of liberal followers still intentionally put the blinders on and act like the US is at fault for provoking Muslims, or something.
