Early last year, Google revealed that it was the victim of a "highly sophisticated and targeted attack" originating from China that led to the theft of intellectual property from the company. Google has pulled out of China since the initial attack and began to redirect Chinese traffic to its Hong Kong-based site. In March, Google accused China of blocking its Gmail service. Shares of Google were falling 0.1% to $524.87 in after-hours trading Wednesday.
