We will hear that they "died," that they "perished," that they were "lost" and that they were "killed" on 9/11. We will hear that they were victims of a tragedy, a cataclysmic horror. But one fact will go largely unspoken. We will not hear that they were murdered. How often have you heard that indisputable truth spoken on newscasts since 9/11? How often have you heard that the 2,977 innocents who died on 9/11 were "victims of a mass murder"? If you've listened to CNN's reports about the Islamic-American US Army psychiatrist Nidal Malik Hasan, who murdered 13 and wounded 32 at Fort Hood in November 2009, you wouldn't know that the overwhelming evidence points to his inspiration as his "duty to Islam." Armed with an FN Five-Seven semi-automatic, which he'd fitted with two Lasermax sights, Hasan, according to witnesses, bowed his head in prayer, then went about doing "God's work." But CNN would have the world think that he was just some regular G.I. Joe who had a bad day. Imagine if he'd been an American white supremacist who opened fire on Muslims . . .The news media have never had a problem pointing to Lt. The media have no trouble distinguishing the innocent dead in those massacres as victims of murder. But the 9/11 murder-massacre victims, for the polite, politically delicate way in which their deaths have been characterized, could have been killed in several airplane accidents that occurred that Tuesday, or in the accidental fires and building collapses that followed. But that's not what happened. They were murdered by Islamic lunatics. They didn't simply die, they weren't simply killed and they didn't simply perish on 9/11. They were murdered.
