I have written up a scenario for the "generic consumer" case of consuming Action resources here: http://open-services.net/wiki/core/Generic-consumer-of-Action-resources-scenario/
It's something that I think would be useful to exist (and hopefully you can see from it why I think this is one of those ideas that if we _don't_ do we might in the future think "WHY didn't we make these things compatible?" [between Cm and Automation]) but I understand it's not a current product and the demand for it might be low, so if the response is "that's fair enough but we don't need to do the work to support that right now" then that's fine. (If the response is "we'd never want to do that" then I'd be interested in the reason why - although this would mostly be a development-time tool, with limited end-user application). In any case, don't pull your punches, discussion is good :) Kind regards, Martin Pain Software Developer - Green Hat Rational Test Virtualization Server, Rational Test Control Panel Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration - Automation WG joint chair E-mail: [email protected] Find me on: and within IBM on: IBM United Kingdom Limited Registered in England and Wales with number 741598 Registered office: PO Box 41, North Harbour, Portsmouth, Hants.
