I just looked at the common property page [1] again and I see this incorrect entry:
oslc:describes zero-or-one True XMLLiteral n/a n/a description of the resource shape It seems that oslc:describes has been morphed into a synonym for dcterms:description. That was not the original intension. The purpose of oslc:describes is to identify the rdf:type of the resource that a Shape describes.
