Hi. FYI, it was suggested to me by Steve that examples on how to "extend" existing OSLC common properties with shapes, could be a good subject for one Primer section maybe.

Perhaps some of these concerns can be addressed in the OSLC Primer [1] that is being developed. I'm not sure how much detail you are looking for but I could imagine it be as simple as just adding more properties to the resource within you own namespace. The make clients aware of this and if you are supporting resources shapes, you can either generate your own or use the ones in the appendices to get started.
